Chairman of the Audit Committee
He found his niche in government at both State and Federal levels.   As a Senior Bank Examiner at the State of Illinois Commissioner of Banks and Trust Companies, Dave's work focused on supervision and regulation of State chartered banks, and compliance with State banking laws, regulations, and “Safe and Sound” practices.  

State bank sizes ranged from traditional community banks to the largest State Banks (U.S. $30 Billion in assets).

With State experience, he moved on to Supervision and Regulation of Federally chartered financial institutions.  He specializes in risk management, internal controls, and security of financial  information systems in Large, Complex, Bank Organizations (U.S. $300 Billion in assets). 

Currently retired, Dave consults for the US Federal Reserve on an adhoc basis regarding Financial Institution Technology Service Provders and Federally Chartered Financial Institutions.

As Chairman of the Audit Committee, Dave brings 45 years of audit skills to the job, and a penchant for thoroughness, second to none.

Dave’s career began with a national CPA firm in the mid-seventies. His responsibilities were mostly audit of the Fortune 500, but included business planning, and information systems.

He has in depth experience in management Information systems from many years as an internal auditor of information systems at large, diversified national companies. He focused on information systems  development; information security, operational controls, and internal controls.
